American Legion-Gary Streeter Post 108 Prescott Valley, Arizona, a non-profit 501(c) (19), is proud to offer a 14”, warm cast sculpture depicting a Viet Nam soldier in full battle gear. The statue is mounted on a beautiful 9” X 1½” oval solid walnut base. Any home would be proud to display this striking statue in a place of honor; and this donation is tax deductible.

All proceeds will benefit the many projects The American Legion supports: Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. Each of these activities encompass a variety of programs that benefit our nation's Veterans, its service members, their families, the youth of America and    ordinary citizens. We at Post 108 send eligible boys AND girls to ALLECA (American Legion Law Enforcement Academy) where they learn from active duty members of law enforcement, Boys & Girls State, which engages participants in the many activities of   setting up a mock government that include campaigns and elections of “government officials”. They even have to setup a city and all of its infrastructure needs! Participants hold “mock” trials to learn about our how our legal system works guided by real attorneys! We also support an Oratorical Contest where participants give a speech on the Constitution of the United States and selected Amendments. Cash prizes are awarded at each level from a post in a city to a state’s finals. 1st prize winner at the National level receives an $18,000.00 scholarship! There are also 2nd and 3rd prizes with a great deal of expense help for travel to the National Contest!
